THE RULES

- First off, this is a MCU/616 RP blog. I started writing Elektra before she appeared on the Netflix show and became very comfortable in my 616 verse which is why I have decided to keep it as the default verse for the most part. However, this may change if I’m interacting with an MCU character. I have read a fair few of the original DD run, Ultimates, Elektra: Assassin and a few other pieces here and there, but I haven’t read everything ever written about her. I do try and do my research but I may make mistakes. The comic book universe is huge and widely varies depending on the run (I have kind of made my own blend of a few different versions of Elektra).

- I’m multiverse, multifandom and open to ocs. However I do prefer to write with mutuals as I tend to follow people I can see my character interacting with.

- I generally try to match my partner in reply length, however it won’t always work out that way. Depends on how cooperative my muse is and how much Elektra has to say/do.

- My standard reply format is small text with icons, doesn’t bother me if you don’t format yours to same as mine though. Sometimes I do mobile replies if I’m bored and away from my computer, in this case I will ask my partner to cut for me so it doesn’t fill up the dash.

- NSFW will be a thing (mun is of age). Will be tagged as nsfw and only put under read mores if my partner does so.

- Violence and triggering material will occur. All will be tagged eg. abuse tw.

- Open to any shipping possibilities as long as the chemistry is there. My OTP is MattxElektra, however once again it’s all chemistry based. If our writing styles don’t mesh then I may not ship it.

- No godmodding. I’m pretty lenient on this one, after all sometimes small forms of it are inevitable, but to completely take control of my character is another thing.

- No hate towards anyone. I see it and I will come down on you like a plague.

- Most of all have fun and never hesitate to shoot me a message to plot. I am way friendlier than I probably sound after reading these guidelines/rules. Everyone always sounds like a douchebag in their guidelines.

GREEK TRAGEDY

     Born to Hugo Kostas Nachios, a powerful Greek diplomat and Christina Natchios, Elektra had a privileged upbringing and relatively average childhood despite her mother being gunned down when she was very young. Martial arts training was a requirement of her father and she excelled in the classes, a complete natural.
     She attended and graduated from Columbia University in New York City, studying Political Science. It was here that she met her Matt Murdock, the two falling in love and forming a serious relationship. Circumstances meant the pairing didn't last, with the assassination of her father causing her to take off to Japan to train with Stick under the Chaste.
     However, Stick felt that Elektra held too much overbearing grief from her father's death and he cast her away. With no place to go, Elektrainfiltrated the Hand in hopes of destroying them from the inside out and winning back Stick's favour. Instead she was fooled into killing her former Sensei, awakening a darkness within her.
     Elektra stayed with the Hand for some time before breaking free of their hold and setting out on her own as a bounty hunter and assassin for hire. After years away, her adventures have led her back to New York, the city where it all began.
